A house of 1866 which, though considerably altered and extended in the twentieth century, is an important example of what is thought to be the personal style of Edward La Trobe Bateman, characterised by a distinctive arched window detail, curving roof forms, the turret, and the verandah woodwork.(Old section only is classified)
